Check Point researchers recently found critical Remote code execution vulnerability in the Magento community and enterprise edition that can lead to the complete compromise of any Magento-based store, including credit card information as well as other financial and personal data. It has already affected nearly two hundred online shops.
On February 9, 2015 Magento released the SUPEE-5344 security patch and notified all store owners to download and install the patches asap but even after a 15 days most of the store owners weren't applied the patches on their Magento stores. According to one report, we were able to know that atleast 200 Magento stores were affected within few days.
As Magento store owners and lot of developers are not aware, we have written a blog tutorial for them on Installing Security Patches in Magento.
Magento is taking this vulnerability very serious and hence we have developed the extension to verify whether the patches are applied perfectly or not?
Go ahead and download the extension, if you face any issues, do let us know, we will happy to help you. If you are facing trouble with installing patches, you can contact us, Your Magento store security is more then anything else for us.
NOTE: This extension can only show the result if you have applied patches using SSH or PHP File Method.

works better than https://www.magereport.com,
just simply displays the patches installed in app/etc/applied.patches.list file
but shows multiple results if you installed same patch more than once :(

RatingsThis extension is such a wonder that it shows the patching applied properly or not in free of charge. I got to know the improper patch installation and also got it solved from Magecomp team. Cheers guys!
