The Baking Tools (TBT) is an established Indian store focused on selling baking supplies and products for home bakers as well as commercial chefs. TBT had a nice range of quality tools and accessories, but was struggling to sell products because of very low visibility and no organic reach online.
MageComp worked collaboratively with TBT to develop and implement a customized SEO strategy to help drive traffic, visibility, and ultimately conversion.

Challenges & Solutions
1. Low Organic Traffic (~3.2K monthly)
With great products to sell, The Baking Tools did not have the organic traffic to deliver the number of visitors the website had anticipated. The site had poor SEO due to a lack of optimization and authority building.
Solution
Working with the client, MageComp developed an organized and measurable SEO strategy, including Keyword Research, Technical SEO adjustments, and On-Page Optimization. Then, we engaged the business with a content marketing plan and some internal linking to assist with driving traffic that was specific to their market and to rank for some competitive baking terms.
The Baking Tools enjoyed a bump in visibility in search and organic visitors increased by ~139% – ~3200 in April 2025 to ~8800 in September 2025 in only a span of 5 months.

2. Weak Internal Linking Across Pages
The site had weak internal linking between pages, and while the site had separate product and category pages, but weren’t linking correctly, resulting in a poor navigational experience for customers and search engines alike. This limited the crawlability of the sit,e which caused fragmented ranking signals.
Solution
We built an internal linking infrastructure leveraging the strong-performing categories to link the pages to other related categories, products, blogs, and guides. This improved site structure, assisted search engines in discovering more pages, and kept the user on the site longer.
3. Limited Content Marketing Efforts
Fresh, keyword-optimized web content represents a significant opportunity to rank for trending queries around baking. Customers who were searching for baking tips, tutorials, or recipes were not finding The Baking Tools.
Solution
MageComp developed and implemented a comprehensive and regular content marketing plan, producing regular blog posts on baking trends, products, and guidebooks for educational content. This increased keyword rankings and improved the overall authority of the brand in the baking niche.

4. Missing or Outdated Social Media Profile Links
Even though TBT had social media profiles, these either lacked links on site, or had outdated information and branding. This limited referral traffic and made the brand look inactive in consumers’ eyes, which hurt consumer trust.
Solution
We updated and ensured the links to all social media profiles reflect new (and consistent) branding and provided optimized information. This provided credibility and trust while maximizing the amount of referral traffic that would come to TBT’s site.
5. Several Broken (404) Links Impacting SEO
There were several broken links (404s) due to an outdated site structure as a result of changes to the products and content. This would not only limit the experience for users but also leak SEO value.
Solution
MageComp carried out an extensive technical audit to reveal each 404 error. We either corrected or configured each broken link and directed the user to relative pages, which enhanced site health, lowered bounce rates, and recovered lost SEO authority.
6. Low Visibility in Google Shopping
TBT’s products were not receiving the visibility it wanted in Google Shopping due to a lack of optimization in product feeds, which created limited opportunities for sales via Google Ads.
Solution
We completely rebuilt the product feed to recap either title, targeted keyword-rich descriptions, proper categorization for each product, and quality images for each item. This increased not only the visibility of products, but also improved the ability of TBT to convert product sales through their Google shopping campaigns.

7. Inactive Google My Business (GMB) Profile
TBT’s GMB profile was inactive and out-of-date, which likely prevented the business from seeing local search opportunities. Any potential customer seeking to purchase baking needs would struggle to find The Baking Tool’s offerings.
Solution
MageComp claimed and optimized TBT’s Google My Business profile by creating new content, posting accurate information regularly, and managing customer reviews. All these together have vastly improved their local search visibility, credibility, and foot traffic of local customers finding the business.
Conclusion
By solving the technical and content-related issues related to SEO, MageComp altered the digital landscape for TBT. Within a short time period, just 4 months, TBT saw tremendous organic growth in visibility, with improved conversion rates, which meant that TBT earned placements as the online go-to store for baking supplies in India.
