Product prices keep on changing for online stores. Store owners usually set higher prices when there is a high demand for the product. Once the demand reduces, the product prices are again changed. Store owners also set offer prices as a part of their marketing campaigns. These special prices are for a limited period of time only. Once the offer duration is over, the prices get back to the original.
To handle periodic product prices, Magento 2 offers Quote Lifetime settings to reduce the manual work of store admin. Setting Quote Lifetime will automatically change the product price after the specified number of days. By default, the Quote Lifetime value is 30 days.
Steps to Configure Quote Lifetime in Magento 2:
Step 1: Log in to your Magento 2 Admin Dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration.
Step 3: Expand the SALES menu from the left panel and select Checkout.
Step 4: Now enlarge the Shopping Cart option and set desired days in the Quote Lifetime field. The default is 30 days.
Step 5: Hit the Save Config button at last.
