After upgrading the Magento version the default functionality may not work and you get system.log error that says,

“Session size of 370635 exceeded allowed session max size of 256000”

This error occurs usually when you create a new order from the admin panel for a particular customer or add a new product and update the shopping cart.

Follow the steps to fix the system.log error after upgrading to the latest Magento version.

Steps to Fix System.log Error after Upgrading to Latest Version of Magento 2:

Step 1: Run below command using terminal on your Magento root directory

php bin/magento config:set system/security/max_session_size_admin 0

Step 2: Then flush the cache from admin or by running below command on your Magento root directory

php bin/magento cache:flush

Now the Admin works fine !!!
