How to Edit Customer Details on Shopify?

Shopify is a robust e-commerce platform that allows users to create and manage online stores easily. When running an online business, it’s crucial to be able to edit customer details to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to edit customer details on Shopify:

Steps to Edit Customer Details on Shopify:

Step 1: To begin, log in to your Shopify account using your credentials. Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the Shopify admin dashboard.

Step 2: From the Shopify admin dashboard, locate and click on the Customers tab.

Step 3: From the list of customers, find the customer whose details you want to edit and click on their name to access their profile.

Step 4: Click on the three dots symbol in the Customer section. Then select the Edit contact information option.

Step 5: Here, you can make necessary changes to their details. This includes editing their name, email address, phone number, and any other relevant information.

Step 6: Once the contact details are updated as per your requirement, click on the Save button.

Step 7: To update the customer’s address, click on the three dots again and select Manage addresses option.

Step 8: All the saved addresses for the selected customer will appear. Click on the edit symbol for the address that you want to update.

Step 9: Here, you can update the complete address details of the customer. The information includes country, name, city, pincode, company, and more.

Step 10: Once the contact details are updated as per your requirement, click on the Save button.
