So to hide products from search in Shopify, follow the below steps.

Steps to Hide Products From Search in Shopify Store:

Step 1: Log in to the Shopify Admin Panel.

Step 2: Select Settings from the bottom of the left menu.

Step 3: Now select Custom Data.

Step 4: Under the Metafields section, select Products.

Step 5: Now click on the Add definition button from the top-right corner.

Step 6: Add the product metafield definition details

  • Name – Name the definition as per your choice.
  • Namespace and key – Enter “seo.hidden” in this field.
  • Type – Choose “Integer” and “One value”.

Step 7: Then click on Save.

Step 8: Now go to Products and open the product you want to hide.

Step 9: Scroll down to the Metafields section and set the value 1 to the metafield.

Step 10: Click on Save, and your product will be removed from the search.
